Space your needle for your desired length starting from the underneath, pulling through your fabric and about the needle as you floss back downwards and through that end of your previous stitch.

  1. Chain Stitch

It is a good one for design or pattern. It starts by creating a stitch in the normal manner. However, before you pulling the floss through, let it create a loop. Go on and bring your needle through the loop to tether hence preventing it from pulling away and pull. Place your needle close or directly to the hole stitched then pull through to create another loop by not pulling the floss through your fabric completely. Repeat pulling your needle up and through your loop to tether.
